Amanda O’Kane, Director, is a Chartered Accountant. Amanda also has a Masters of Management and a Business Degree majoring in Accounting. With over 25 years experience in senior financial positions from medium sized to multinational organisations, she is well equipped to provide sound advice to any business. Her roles have been in the professional services environment until recently where she branched out into hospitality. She found that no matter the industry the same accounting principles apply.
Amanda experience extends from legal practices to marketing firms and she was CFO in two WPP organisations – Hill and Knowlton (Public Relations) and The Campaign Palace (Advertising Agency) as well as CFO in the Sydney office of Grant Thornton, Accounting and Business Services Advisory firm.
Amanda has completed major overhauls of Finance departments, including processes and controls. She has improved working capital, reporting lead times cut to enable businesses to be proactive in their decision making, implemented cost saving procedures and reviewed finance teams to ensure they are the best people for the role.
Coming into new CFO roles has enabled her to see businesses with a fresh perspective. As CFO she has seen the best and worst of businesses and is passionate about ensuring your business’s financial position is well grounded to enable the operations to cope with the uncertainty in our global economy.
